the list

Someday I will…

~ start the blog I’ve been planning in my head for forever
~ finish the books I’ve been reading (for a year? two? three?)
~ read the other books I have sitting around waiting to be read
~ have a garage sale and get rid of my get rid of pile
~ try out recipes I keep saving from magazines (or find on the internet)
~ start an Etsy shop
~ keep my apartment consistently clean (including the laundry pile & dish mountain)
~ regularly wash my “hand wash” clothes, and don’t even get me started on the “dry clean only” clothes
~ have time to work on the backlog of craft projects I’ve planned and stacked up
~ go through my boxes of stuff and pare down my belongings
~ work on design projects for myself (not just for clients)
~ start knitting the afghan I dreamed up for my couch
~ fix/mend the clothes that’s piled up (or I still wear despite needing a fix-up)
~ finish the curtains I designed for the French doors in my room
~ do more freelance design work
~ go to bed at a decent hour so I can get up earlier
~ make homemade granola instead of buying it
~ learn how to get herbs to stay alive indoors
~ figure out a better way to keep track of my lists
~ try more (all?) of the recipes in my fabulous smoothie book
~ floss my teeth regularly
~ finish the chair reupholstery project with the fabric I bought in Paris
~ actually follow a budget, instead of making one and pretending I am
~ clear out my inbox (x6)
~ find affordable natural and eco-friendly products (with recyclable packaging)
~ learn something about web design

I figured I’d put together a list of my somedays. The things that I’m going to quit putting off til someday. I’m sure there are a million more things I could add to the list, but this is what I came up with before clicking the publish button. I’m going to start creating more, pursuing more, learning more, playing more, and doing more. And, hopefully, this here little ol’ blog will keep me on track. A little bit of accountability for my new doing life.
